About Me

My name is Heather.  I have been a massage practitioner for over 20 years and a Reiki Practitioner for nearly that long.  I have helped ease people's discomfort and pain, encouraged their healing and offer compassion and unconditional caring.  I find joy with my family and close friends and nourishment in nature.  I always have a feline friend to snuggle with at the end of the day ~ love, laughter and compassion is how I try to fill my life.

I have an open and compassionate nature.  No matter your spiritual inclination or your cultural background,  we all deserve genuine caring at end of life.  You may have no family, a chosen family or simply in need of guidance during this very emotional time, I can help. It would be an honour and a privilege to sit with you during vigil (the final hours before death).  Reiki  and guided meditation can help ease anxiety, and even physical discomfort as you prepare for your transition.

I can help if you are dying at home or in the hospital.  Maybe you are choosing MAID, I can help you plan a quiet death or a gentle party. If you are part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community you may have unique needs and a chosen family you want close. Maybe you are on your own and would like some companionship?  I can help through the days and weeks leading up to the vigil and death as well as planning for a family led at home funeral.
